Augmented Imagery Portfolio
Augmented Imagery is our name for corporate photography extended with AI. Headshot London has photographed business in London since 2007. The same craft and art direction now shape images a camera alone cannot make.
It works in two ways. We can transform existing photographs, changing skin, expression, clothing, lighting, backgrounds and environments, extending our established Photoshop retouching with AI.
The woman in burgundy has augmented clothing, lens aperture, focal length and office environment, all from a real photograph of a real person.
In the group shot below, six colleagues’ individual headshots were combined into a new group photograph.
US companies can give their UK staff portraits backgrounds that match their American offices. The New York portrait below was photographed in London, then given a US office background for her keynote speaking opportunities.
We also create imagery where no photograph exists. It doesn’t even need to be human. We created an amusing muppet-style character for our IT client’s customer outreach, part of a wider social engagement project.
Art direction makes generated elements convincing. They rely on the same understanding of light, perspective and detail that makes a photograph believable. AI can generate an image but it’s the experience that makes it look right.
